My Origin Story
Behind the mask: Who is “The Comic Brooke?”
My Story
Like many heroes, my story begins with a gift. I was 8 years old when my dad took me to the first X-Men movie in theaters, and since I couldn’t stop talking about it, it wasn’t long before he was buying me “The Amazing X-Men” comic books for every birthday or holiday (or just because). Those dog-eared pages sparked something in me: a love for powerful storytelling, dynamic visual art, and the idea that ordinary people could make extraordinary impacts.
So “The Comic Brooke” moniker came naturally, though not from any radioactive spider bite. Just a creative mind that couldn’t resist a good play on words remnicient of my ultra-nerdy childhood. (Mystique is my favorite character, if you were wondering.)
But every hero faces their trials. I’ve stared down my own villains – there are 3 defining moments of my life that I’d love to tell you about one day. (One involves getting run over by a tractor on the beach 🚜 and living to talk about it!) But like any good character arc, these moments didn’t break me; they taught me how precious every second is of this wild adventure we call life.
Today, my superpower isn’t shooting lasers from my eyes (though that would certainly make internal meetings more interesting). Instead, I help brands find and amplify their authentic voice in a noisy digital world. I live for those moments when a company discovers its unique story and watch it resonate with exactly the right audience.
When I’m not helping brands unlock their potential, you’ll find me craving adventure: camping with my husband in our “CamperCan” van 🚐, horse back riding, or recharging somewhere in nature.
My mission? I’ve learned that the most powerful transformations happen when we stop trying to be everything to everyone and instead focus on being something remarkable to the people who matter most. And that goes for the businesses I work with, but also is my latest objective in life.

The Camper Can’s first voyage: Florida to Utah!
My husband and I strive to camp as often as possible on the weekends—it’s my all-time favorite pasttime.
I’ve hiked the Grand Canyon 2x, seen it 5x, and plan on many more visits!
I’ve been taking riding lessons for 6 years, and it truly is such a joy to work with these beautiful animals.
When you’re a designer, you can’t resist giving your own camper van a logo & brand! Fun fact: We named our van “CamperCan” because our iPhones kept Autocorrecting it that way!
If you’re ever in Thailand, be sure to visit Elephant Nature Park—what an incredible, wholesome experience to walk with these majestic creatures.
